TD Canada Trust
TD Canada Trust has generously donated $2,500 to Food4Kids Guelph. Their on-going support has been critical to the sustainability of our program. During COVID we cannot deliver our weekend food bags to the schools.
We have been sending the families in our program Grocery Gift Cards, $15 per child each week, to help close the hunger gap during this increasingly difficult time. Our program has grown to 21 schools in both school boards, 315 children and 130 families. Food4Kids Guelph is 100% self funded and volunteer run. Without the support of community minded like TD we could not continue to feed hungry children our community.
Jarzies Indoor Simulated Golf
Julie Hamilton, the owner of Jarzies, ran a third party donation fundraiser in the months leading up to Christmas. She purchased a consignment of gift wrapping paper and offered these items for clients to help themselves and make a donation to Food4Kids Guelph, if they wished. What a wonderful gesture from a small business owner who has struggled from COVID closures including the current “lockdown”. Julie’s innovative initiative and the generosity of her patrons raised $940 for our program. Thank you Julie!
Since the fall of 2019, Budget Blinds, of Guelph and Kitchener, has donated over $2000 through their “Buck a Blind” program to Food4Kids Guelph. We are so grateful to owner Mark Riffer and his team for their ongoing generosity and support to help feed hungry kids.
