Rotary Club of Guelph Wellington's Annual Duck Race
On Monday, August 9, 2021, three of our Board members joined the Rotary Club of Guelph Wellington’s weekly meeting for the Big Reveal and cheque presentation of what they raised for Food4Kids Guelph through this year’s Rotary Duck Race.
As you will see from the photo with Dave Van Dam, who presented the cheque, the Grand Total was $26,300.
An additional $400 has come in through the Duck Race:
- a $200 donation made direct to Food4Kids Guelph, and
- $200 in Longos gift cards, which we are converting to cash into our bank account
So really, the grand total from the Rotary Wellington Club is $26,700.
On average, it currently costs our program a little over $26,000 per month to operate, taking everything into account, so the Duck Race contribution has paid for our program for one whole month! What a cause for celebration!!!
