Prior to retiring in 2017, Linda worked for nearly 25 years in the local non-profit sector. After graduating from the University of Guelph with a Masters in Rural Planning and Development, she joined Guelph Arts Council as a program co-ordinator. Eight years later she arrived at The Foundation of Guelph General Hospital where she found her dream job – being part of a team raising critical funds for the hospital.
When Linda joined The Rotary Club of Guelph South she connected with other Rotarians working on a pilot program to feed hungry children on weekends. She helps pack food bags, fundraise and do whatever else is required when she is able to. Until recently she served as Chair of the Fund Development Committee.
She believes strongly in the power of volunteerism, which was encouraged by her parents. She believes that together we can change our world.
