Liz Sandals served as a trustee on the Upper Grand District School Board for 15 years and then as Guelph’s Member of Provincial Parliament for 15 years. During her time as a trustee, Liz also acted as President of the Ontario Public School Boards’ Association for 4 years. Liz’s assignments as an MPP included membership on the Legislature’s Select Committee on Mental Health and Addiction, Chair of the government’s Safe Schools Action Team and then as Ontario’s Minister of Education and as President of Treasury Board.
